2. HANDMADE PRODUCTS
Many Can You Candle That products are handmade, hand-poured, hand-dyed, hand-cut, hand-stitched, or otherwise created in small batches.
Because of their handmade nature and the natural materials we may use, reasonable variations can occur between products. These may include variations in color, texture, scent, appearance, dimensions, finish, wax characteristics, leather characteristics, paper coloration, or other details.
These natural variations are part of handmade production and do not necessarily indicate a defect.
We make reasonable efforts to photograph and describe our products accurately. Actual colors and appearance may vary slightly because of lighting, photography, device displays, natural materials, and differences between individual batches.
Nothing in this section limits your rights if a product is defective, damaged, materially different from its description, or otherwise subject to protections under applicable law.
3. CANDLE SAFETY
Candles involve an open flame and must be used responsibly.
Always follow the safety instructions and warnings provided with your candle.
Candles should always be burned within sight and on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep burning candles away from children, pets, drafts, vibrations, and anything that can catch fire.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris. Follow the wick-trimming, maximum burn-time, and discontinuation instructions supplied with your candle.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle while sleeping or when no responsible adult is present.
Never use a candle for a purpose other than its intended use.
To the extent permitted by law, CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, failure to follow supplied safety instructions, unauthorized alteration of a product, or use inconsistent with the product's intended purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
4. WHIPPED TALLOW MOISTURIZER AND BODY PRODUCTS
Our whipped tallow moisturizer and other body products are sold as cosmetic products unless expressly stated otherwise.
Please review the listed ingredients before use, particularly if you have known allergies or sensitivities.
Individual experiences with skincare products vary. We do not guarantee a particular result.
If irritation or an adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use.
Our cosmetic products are not marketed or intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or medical conditions.
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure our product descriptions, photographs, ingredients, prices, sizes, scents, and other product information are accurate.
Occasionally, information may contain a typographical error, pricing error, or other mistake.
If we discover a material error affecting an order, we may contact you to correct the issue or cancel and refund the affected order where appropriate.
Products, prices, and availability may change before an order is accepted.
6. ORDERS AND PAYMENT
By placing an order, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, payment problems, inventory errors, pricing errors, or inability to fulfill an order.
If we cancel an order that has already been paid for, we will provide the appropriate refund.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed at checkout where required.
7. SHIPPING
We currently ship within the United States.
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
Most U.S. orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days after shipment. Delivery times are estimates and may vary because of carrier delays, weather, holidays, unusually high order volume, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Because many of our products are handmade or created in small batches, certain products may occasionally require additional processing time. If a product has a different expected processing time, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate that information.
If we are unable to ship your order within the timeframe represented to you, we will handle the delay, cancellation opportunity, and any required refund in accordance with applicable law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If you notice an error in your shipping information, please contact shannon@canyoucandlethat.com as soon as possible.
8. RETURNS AND PRODUCT CONCERNS
We want you to be happy with your purchase from Can You Candle That.
Returns are generally accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to reasonable exceptions based on the product, its condition, and the circumstances of the return.
If you experience any problem with your order or product, please contact us directly at:
We will review the situation and work with you toward an appropriate resolution.
Before returning an item, please contact us with your order number, the item involved, and a brief explanation of the issue. Please do not send a product back without contacting us first.
Used Products
Using a product does not automatically prevent you from contacting us about a problem.
If you have used a product and believe it did not perform as reasonably expected, please contact us. We may request photographs or additional information to help us understand what happened.
Normal wear, expected characteristics of handmade products, personal preference, or damage caused by misuse may be treated differently from a product that is defective or does not perform as reasonably expected.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, please email us.
Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a replacement, refund, store credit, or another appropriate resolution.
You will not be responsible for costs associated with correcting an error made by us.
Handmade, Custom, and Personalized Products
Return requests involving handmade, customized, or personalized products will be reviewed individually.
A customized or personalized product is not automatically excluded from consideration simply because it was made specifically for you.
The nature of the issue, condition of the product, degree of customization, and circumstances of the request may be considered when determining an appropriate resolution.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.
9. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RECURRING BILLING
Can You Candle That may offer certain products through recurring subscriptions.
Before purchasing a subscription, the price, billing frequency, and other important subscription details will be displayed.
By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method according to the subscription you selected.
Cancel Anytime
Subscriptions may be canceled at any time.
We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Cancellation stops future subscription renewals. If an order has already been processed before the cancellation is completed, that order may still be fulfilled and shipped.
Problems With a Cancellation or Charge
Technology doesn't always work perfectly.
If you attempt to cancel your subscription and experience a problem, are unsure whether your cancellation was completed, or believe you were charged after properly canceling, please contact:
We will review the situation and work with you to resolve it. If necessary, we can manually cancel your subscription.
If you are incorrectly charged after a cancellation should have taken effect, we will correct the charge as appropriate.
Changes to Subscription Offerings
We will not automatically move you to a different subscription, product, price, or billing frequency simply because our subscription offerings change.
If we introduce a new subscription, discontinue or materially change an existing offering, or otherwise make changes that could affect your subscription, we will communicate the available options to you.
Where a change requires your agreement, you will have the opportunity to choose whether to accept the new option or cancel your subscription.
Nothing in these subscription terms limits cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, original photographs, written content, artwork, graphics, branding, logos, product designs, product names, and other original creative materials appearing on our website are owned by or licensed to CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC and may be protected by intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property associated with that product.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or represent our protected content as your own without permission, except where permitted by law.
11. ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE
You agree not to use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems, knowingly submit fraudulent information, or infringe another person's legal rights.
We may restrict access or cancel transactions associated with fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our store may use third-party providers for services such as website hosting, payment processing, shipping, subscription management, analytics, or other business functions.
Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Our use of third-party services does not eliminate responsibilities CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC has to customers under applicable law.
13. WEBSITE AND PRODUCT WARRANTIES
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and quality products.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that our website will always operate without interruption, delay, or technical error.
Handmade products may contain the reasonable natural variations described in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates warranties, protections, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from misuse of our products, failure to follow supplied safety instructions, unauthorized modification, or use inconsistent with a product's intended purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability imposed by applicable law for certain defective products, personal injuries, fraudulent conduct, or other legally protected claims.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC from third-party claims, damages, or reasonable expenses arising directly from your unlawful use of our website, intentional misuse of our products, or material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not require you to indemnify CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC for our own negligence, unlawful conduct, defective products, or liability that cannot legally be shifted to a customer.
16. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our store is handled according to our separate Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy should be reviewed together with these Terms.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and transactions with CAN YOU CANDLE THAT LLC are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of legal rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes in our business, products, website, or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already arisen from an existing transaction where doing so would violate applicable law.
